• This planet is also located in the southeastern sector of the Funziee Universe, in a system known as the Tavis System. It's not the only inhabitable planet in the this system. Another planet, known as Zerline is also located here. The people of Zerline are a highly developed race that tend to be very private.


• Consider a medium sized planet, Tavens is about the same size as Orian is. This planet is pretty self supportive and not considered wealthy. It does not possess any particular item that is of any interest to the rest of the universe. There is some tourism and an annual race that draws in crowds in from all over, but nothing that has any universal value like Tybus or Sharzlet have.


• Tavens is called the Planet of Many Marshes because it's surface is watery with only a few areas of raised, solid, dry ground. The largest of these patches of dry ground was used to place the interstellar space port. It's topography for the most part is flat. And the land is sparsely populated.


• Tavens orbit takes it through an asteroid belt. Yearly they experience a meteor shower that lasts approximately two days. The entire capital city has an artificial shield which is brought up just before the planet passes through the belt. All who live on Tavens gather in the city for protection.


• The surface is also prone to major ground tremors. All buildings are built to withstand the shaking as well as the flooding that happens annually.


• The planet's climate is very temperate with only two seasons: The dry season and the rainy season.


• Tavens moon is inhabitable. Unlike the planet, it's surface is one of a large forest and holds both a military base and a royal retreat.


• Tavonians are an off shoot race of the Rytronians that longed to be away from the overpopulated landscape of Rytron and came to Tavens looking for a more private life.


• Capital City-Shantillai, is also known as the 'City on Stilts'.


• Government style: Democratic Monarchy, where appointed council members help keep the ruler in check.


• Shyni Castle is where the royals dwell, and is the tallest structure on the planet.


• The symbol that represents the royal family of Tavens is simply known as the 'Fenton Insignia'.


• All names of the Tavonians are hyphened with the exception of the ruler's. An ancient Rytronian custom that is reflected in the Rytronian queen's name, Re-carra.


• Home of the highly venomous Awi, and it's beautiful predator, the Ocahe. People of Tavens wear a vial of anti-venom on a chain around their neck just in case they are bitten by an Awi.


• A 'bog bug' is a derogatory term used for someone of Tavonian descent.
