Located in the Albinima System, Orian is the 'fashion power house' of the Funziee Universe. The Albinima System can be found in the southeastern sector of the universe. Orian shares this system with another planet called Laybinlai, whose inhabitants are humanoid, totally hairless, eccentric and communicate in song only.

Orian is considered to be a medium sized planet. Larger than Beryl, but smaller than Rytron. Being the major fashion house of the universe has made Orian the third most powerful economical planet in the universe. It's a major maker and exporter of the finest textiles and clothes, as well as the best in the entertainment business are found here. Large quarries found in the plains produce a white stone that is popular for carving and exported all over the universe.

It is the second planet to be conquered by the Rytronians. It is the first planet to overthrow the conquering Rytronians. Predominate religion is the worship of Gomaniny. A man who lead the revolution against the Rytronians.

Orian's land to water ratio is about equal. Topography includes plains, hilly areas, large canyons and lakes.

There are only two seasons on Orian: Summer and winter. The transition periods between the two are brief. Both seasons are extreme; the summers sweltering hot and humid. The winters dangerously cold with a lot of moisture.

Orian is moderately populated. There are at least 50 cities with a population of three hundred thousand plus. The capital city being the largest of them all.

Dem City is segregated into three social class distinctions (Orrin, Accosta and Joie) as well as a business district and industrial district.

The ruling class live on the Isle of the Royals in the middle of Lake Centavo (ken-tah-voh) in the Forbidden Castle.

The government style is an Absolute Monarchy. The whole planet is ruled by one leader who has appointed governors, but is in total control of them.

The people of Orian are irenic in nature, noted for both their social skills as well as their organizational skills.

Proper Orianian greeting, palm of right hand placed gently on the other person's face. Fingertips overlapping the ear.

The symbolism behind the design and colors on the Orian flag are: The blue diamond shape in the very center is symbolic of the planet Orian. Orian's signature color being light blue stands for the distinctive blue eyes this race possesses, as well as the docile nature of the natives. The diamond represents Orian in the midst of the Funziee Universe. Orian is also known to the rest of the universe as the, 'Blue Diamond' because of the flag. The blue is also symbolic for the male rule. The pink represents the female rule. Either sex can rule the planet. The bronze around the colors represents the all encompassing rule of Gomaniny, the state god of Orian.

The royal symbol, as well as the religious symbol of Orian is known as The Arrow of Orian. To the Orianian people it represents the liberation of their race from Rytronian rule. It's suppose to be the symbol under which Gomaniny and his army defeated their oppressors. The Arrow is found on ever church and cathedral on the planet. And on anything that has to do with the royal family.

All Orianians are known as 'Blancs' to the rest of the universe. They look human, but be forewarned, to call them human is considered to be one of the offensive insults one could put upon them.

'Prairie Pirate' is a term used for the race of people that live in the outlands of Orian and who prefer to be called, Prairie Inhabitants. To be a resident of Dem City and to be called a 'prairie pirate' is a good way of starting a fight.
