Hi everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that my friend Lisa (a guru of the cyber space realm) has linked my website to my myspace.com page where I have been posting snippets of what is to come in my blog. So if you are interested in catching a glimpse into the story's future click on the 'contact' button and come take a look!

Hey all!

I was sitting here watching Star Trek: The Motion Picture (you know the classic with the bald lady and Vyger? Good movie.) and it got me to thinking that I really should make a note for my web site, clarifying something for those who may want to read the story I have written. I feel I must warn people who like to read conventional Sci-Fi that my story is nothing like Star Trek or even Star Wars. There really isn't anything technical about it like you would find in regular Sci-Fi. The only reason my story is classified as Sci-Fi is because of the setting it's put in. If I were able to put it in a genre, I think I would have to say it belonged in Fantasy/Romance genre as opposed to Sci-Fi. I get real nervous when I hear people who like stuff like Star Trek wanting to read it. The story revolves around the characters that live in an advanced society, and the issues in their lives. The technology is only there to enhance their lives. I don't delve into droids like C-3PO of Star Wars, or even Data of Star Trek. I really don't go into detail about what kind of weaponry they have on the ship, or what model the ships are. This story is strictly character driven. I just wanted to clear that up just in case you as the reader were expecting something like Dune. I also must stress, like it says on the back of the book, this first section is only a set up section for the rest of the story and the love story that is behind it. So if you're a person who likes an emotional ride with some action, this is a story for you. But if you're a person who's looking for a story with a lot of technology in it, you may be disappointed.

I also wanted everyone to know that right now, I am doing an intense revision on the second section of the story and will be trying to find someone to publish as soon as I am satisfied with it. Hopefully for those of you who do want to read the second part, it will be available soon.

Feel free to email me if you'd like. I would appreciate the feedback. Thank you!

Take care!

Sincerely, P. Marie

Don't let the genre hold you back; this is definitely not your typical sci-fi book. It is the most exciting, heart felt, emotional, and dramatic story I have ever read! Page by page, I couldn't get enough. It started off good, then by the middle it was getting even better, and by the end, I couldn't control my excitement. I found myself holding my breath during the dangerous scenes, wondering what was going to happen. P. Marie definitely knows how to keep the readers attention. Telling the story from all the Princesses view points was pure genius. I recommend that you have plenty of caffeine or energy drinks near by when reading because you might just pull an all night reading session.

I loved the book, it kept me in suspense. I could not put the book down. I can't wait to read the next one. It was by far the best book I have ever read. I could really relate to Chaka's feelings. It was funny and sad at the same time. You are sad when they are sad and you are happy when they are happy. This is the first book that made me cry. It is written very well. The author really knows how to grab your attention and keep it. I can't wait to read the next one.

I really enjoyed this book. The characters become people you can feel for and can care about. When they hurt, you hurt. When they feel happy so do you. I think that people will enjoy reading the book, seeing it as an escape from reality. You will come to think of these characters as people you could care about. When the heroine faces death with a smile, you will admire her courageousness. The love between the characters will touch your heart and will make you smile. You will feel almost as if you are there when the tensions start and the people make decisions that affect their futures. I felt the anger when injustice happens to the heroine. I felt the frustration when her brother chased her around the universe, trying to set her free. I also felt a whole range of emotions that coincided with the feelings of the characters in the story. This story is well written and grips your attention from the beginning and also keeps the attention throughout the whole book.

I highly recommend this book to everyone who likes to read. It runs the gamut of emotions, from joy to sadness to anger and humiliation. If you like to feel what you're reading, I would say that you're in for a treat when you read this book.
