The Midnight Star
The Midnite Star is a custom design, Rytronian battle cruiser, made for Jakie Vox, especially
for Jake Vox. This ship is in a class by itself, having only one other ship designed just like
it. It's sister ship, The Phantom. The Midnite Star is designed to allow one of the most
powerful men in the universe the ability to be where he can be where he's the most effective.
It is one of the fastest ships in the Funziee Universe, with an interactive computer system
that allows Jakie to make split second command decisions. It's capable of deep space
expeditions and travel. The ship's capacity can easily support a small city of 15k for
about 3 years before having to return to port. It's a multipurpose vehicle that houses
both official areas as well as recreational. The very design, that some critics say is
too posh for effective space travel, allows the crew to push all the limits, making the
Midnite Star the best ship in the universe. Intended to allow deep space travel while
keeping the feel of home, the Star is an entity to itself. No expense was spared whatsoever
on it's make. It's powered by the highly sought after Sinellian blue ore and it's exterior
is built with the finest material mined from the planet, Tybus. Used by Jakie Vox in his
personal pursuit of Lucifer, it is taken on an extended whirlwind chase that spans the
Funziee Universe and lasts
for almost two years.
Lucifer
Governmentally owned, the luxury class star cruiser, Lucifer is far from luxurious. Aside from
a few officers quarters, and VIP suites, Lucifer's interior is spartan and utilitarian. The
comforts of this ship are few and far in between. Being as it's owned by the government, it
is solid and steady with few refinements. Lucifer is nothing like the Midnite Star. Though
it holds around the same number of people, it's not built on the same principle as the Star
is. It's not the ideal assignment to be given. But it's not this ship that is spectacular in
this story. Lucifer is older and much slower than the Midnite Star. It's the crew that makes
this ship special. A crew that is able to outwit the much newer Midnite Star and its crew
(that was trained in the finest facility the Funziee Universe has to offer) for almost two
years.
